Francesca’s at Sunset, the resort’s fine dining experience, redirected its cuisine to focus on South Texas creations with a Southwestern flair.  More than 80% of its products – buffalo, quail, antelope, Akaushi beef, vegetables, fruits -- are from South Texas ranchers and farmers. Uncertain Farms practices “sustainable agriculture” – a system that emphasizes protecting and enhancing natural resources, using alternatives to pesticides and caring for the health and well being of farm workers and rural communities.  Farm-to-Glass libations include Jalapeno Bubbly and Rio Grande Mimosa – also made with local produce.  WINE: Hotel sommelier, Stephen Krueger adds to the Texas-supported dining experience by featuring eight Texas vintners on his 170+ wine list.

We are proud to announce that our farm fresh produce will be included in many of the dishes served at Francesca's at Sunset located at Westin La Cantera Resort. I had the privilege to show my farm to Philippe Wilhelm and Executive Chef John Armstrong, to walk down the rows, explain our farming techniques and how these can benefit the culinary creations of their restaurant. I was equally honored to be a part of the filming of "www.goodtastewithTanji.com" and Chef Armstrong to air in May 2009.
